First time at a hotpot here, so we read the reviews. Husband is vegetarian, and I eat meat. They asked us about the set menu for around 38 euro. We explained what we wanted. They said ok, so we said ok thinking that this was the only option that we had. So, we explained that his broth should be spicy and mine not so much. They gave us 6 gyozas, only 2 of which were for him. Of course, we asked for more for him and we were charged extra. And the gyozas were store bought not house made (you can tell if you shop at any of the shops nearby) The broths had no seasoning, and so when we asked for things to add to make the broths edible, they charged us for sauces. We did ask for sauce, but we want the other things (like garlic, onion, cilantro and soy sauce which were the bare minimum to make it edible at all) separately. We don’t mind paying for sauce, but please just tell the customer. They gave him bean sprouts and bok Choi and some broccoli-no exotic vegetables like lotus root or even black mushrooms-nothing but the standard westernized things). And don’t send out water with a bone in it (for meat eaters) and water with a handful of mushrooms in it (for vegetarians) and call it delicious-because I can cook things from all over the world, and a lot better than this. Yes, even Asian countries. Even a packet of ramen seasoning would have helped. So, all in all, regretting this. And I wish there was a Korean barbecue, Vietnamese pho or Japanese Shichirin somewhere closer than Madrid. Because for the money and the experience, these rule. So...

We were so lucky to stumble upon this fantastic and cozy Sichuan hotpot restaurant today near Valencia train station.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth by the staff, especially the incredibly friendly waitresses who were the highlight of our visit.
The atmosphere is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern decor, making it a really comfortable spot for dinner. We were seated right away, which was a nice bonus.
The menu is extensive, offering both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, as well as a great variety of fresh ingredients for the hotpot. We went with the spicy broth and were blown away by its aromatic and fragrant flavor.
We ordered the fresh beef and fish slices, tasty Fuzhou dumplings, the Japanese tofu and enoki mushrooms. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and delicious. A must-try from their cooked snacks is the Takoyaki - they were perfectly crispy and flavorful.
The highlight of our visit were the extremely kind and lovely waitresses who were extremely warm and welcoming and made our visit go from great to excellent!!
For anyone looking for an authentic hotpot experience with genuine hospitality and great prices, I highly recommend this place. I hope I get the opportunity to visit...
Read moreI have been to many hot pot restaurants in Asia and all over Europe. This place is without a doubt one of the best. I agree with the other reviewers that the staff are very friendly and speak fluent Mandarin, Spanish and English. So perfect for someone who has never tried hot pot before and wanting a culinary adventure. The food was above excellent, freshly made meatballs, diced prawn and their own soup recipe which is as spicy as you want and very aromatic. There is so much to chose from including a lot of tofu and vegetables for those who do not want meat. The food is full of flavour and the 2€ per head sauce buffet is good value with a massive variety ( more than most restaurants) of freshly prepared ingredients. You must try their house sauce and the Taiwanese barbecue sauce. We had beer, home made plum juice and a massive hotpot for 2, a bargain for around 50€ compared to a London restaurant. If you’ve never had Chinese Hot Pot and want to try something different to Spanish cuisine this place...
