I really enjoyed Casual del Cine. The room was basic, however very functional and a fair price. I would describe the room we had as a twin with an extra bed. The staff were always very helpful and always made really good food recommendations. I have to say the best part of this hotel would be location. While it is in quite a quiet street, it is also easy to access lots of the main attractions and the public areas.||I loved the theme of this hotel. Wherever you looked, there was a reference to film or TV. The room was always clean. Regardless of how neat we'd left things - housekeeping would come and spruce up the room.||The breakfast was good. I think it was a very organised approach to doing breakfast. As someone who works within this industry, I see firsthand the issues guests experience. The approach to have designated breakfast groups eases wait times and allows for a seamless experience. You are asked on check in which group you'd like to be in. The food selection was pretty good - however I would advise if you are partial to a black tea - bring a teabag or two :) - there's lots of herbal teas however on the occasion we went, it seemed black tea was in short supply.|| I think the one thing I'd like to see is a selection of some more hot food or food to order - like pancakes or bacon. However for a hotel of this size, the breakfast is more than adequate. ||Unfortunately we were there throughout the tragic flooding event in nearby Valencia. The staff remained professional, providing as much information as possible. Even though information from the authorities was coming out slowly - the hotel reacted well - publishing relevant signage in both English and Spanish. I would therefore summarise that this hotel is customer orientated - having a good eye for detail. ||I would definitely recommend Casual del Cine if you're looking for a budget approach to...

SO I spent 3-4 night at the hotel. I met this horrible person Irinna. she was odious to us! she called out to me, telling me that my room, which is a family room, was not properly tidied up and that if I hadn't already booked she would have kicked me out and charged me a night's charge!! I was so shocked! so I said that I left some papers on the desk because there is no trash can in the room that's all! after cost I told her she couldn't talk to me like that so I asked to speak to the head of housekeeping who assured me there was no problem with a big smile ! Afterwards the very kind receptionist later apologized as he did not understand what she was doing or why she attacked me for no reason. At first I thought she was mean by nature or that she had abused substances because she always had sleepy eyes and spoke in a very strange way. But when I saw her with the other clients I understood that when you are not white it is a problem for her. I assure you the rest of the staff is wonderful Spanish are very nice and she is not even Spanish but she wants to give a bad image of these very adorable and professional people! unfortunately I will never go again because of her and I hope that her racism will turn...
