As relatively newcomers to Valencia, we are still exploring. We found this wonderful place while walking around Aragon avenue near Mestalla. We made a reservation via WhatsApp. What a wonderful choice it turned out yo be!
We love Peruvian food in general and what this restaurant has to offer is wonderful indeed.
From the moment we were greeted by the staff, we knew we were in the right place. We greatly enjoyed the superb appetizers, great artisan local beers and gourmet Peruvian delicacies beautifully plated and presented. Every dish was described in detail by the staff and we were asked (most delicately) whether we liked the food. The desserts were to die for. Every dish we tried was an explosion of flavors beautifully fused by the creators of these delicate dishes.
Our level of satisfaction was complete. Food, service, ambiance and location were perfect for us. We...
Read moreThe main problem I have with this place was the flavour- price ratio. I have no problem paying 200 euros for a place that blows my mind. Now - I love peruvian food. I have been to Peru many times and I have many favourite dishes. Every dish we tried there was gourmet style full of edible flowers and nice presentation and no flavour. Honestly after trying the cevice, papas huancaina and the causa....i was regretting my choice so badly....everything was mediocre. The only good dish was the empanadas de ternera. The drinks were OK. The pisco sour was nice. If they charged me 50 euros for this meal for 2 I'd probably just not say anything and just not go back. They charged us 100 euros for a meal for 2 after the waitress hinted that what we initially ordered wasn't going to be enough due to the gourmet portions......honestly it's one of my worst dining...
Read moreI HAD to post this 5 star review. I mean, it was love at first sight: the restaurant per se is already super cute and cozy, but then the food is just exceptional! Every bite I took it was just melting is my mouth and I felt like the Disney movie Ratatouille when he was eating strawberry-cheese (aka fireworks!!), and the presentation was just (almost) too beautiful to eat. And then just to make it even more special all the ceramic plates were hand made!! If you had never tried Peruvian food, THIS is the place where you can find the best one in Valencia! Last but not least: the owners are super nice and efficient, they can suggest you anything - food and beverages - based on your personal taste. 100%...
