Since my flight got cancelled out of Vigo, I had an extra day to spend some time exploring. I saw that Casa Marcos was one of the most reviewed restaurant in TA so I decided to check it out. The bf called around 1pm to see if they were open. Yes they were open and completely booked however we got Lucky and a 1:30 table was available. We left the hotel on foot and arrived there on time. It’s nicely decorated and I felt that I was under dressed. They didn’t say anything so I was cool with it. Prices aren’t too expensive. Bottles of wine range from 16€+. Bread: I assumed the bread was COMPLIMENTARY because the server just put it on our plates. Later when they bill came, they charged us 2€ for each piece. I didn’t even want it but since it was there, I nibbled on it. It’s not that great. Then the server brought out a blended pineapple chupito with sprinkles of jamon. Weird combination - tasted alright. Croquettes: delicious and came in an edible bowl. I was surprised at how many pieces were there - probably 8 pieces. Foi special - the presentation was beautiful. The Foi with the sweet jelly on top of the toast was a great combination. Uni scrambled eggs - I didn’t taste too much uni and it was very very wet. I thought it needed a bit of fluff. Overall, great dining experience. The food was great but not spectacular. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items. Anyways, I would be back to try other dishes.

Such a darn good restaurant located in Vigo!!! Enjoy the rice or the steak or anything there is! Xtreme fans like myself go often. Insist on a nice "Vino Tinto"(Red Wine) w lunch Never leave without having a "chupito" at end. You can sometimes have a chupito w alcohol. Or you can have the after meal coffee without. Unless you really try both, its hard to judge . Regardless, this place is amazing either way My compliments to the chefs and staff here. On my next trip to Vigo, I am heading here 1st Unless you hate good food, you better stopby Then, after YOU'VE tried the food, write here & Help others discover this real gem !

Excellent! We stopped in while waiting for our train and enjoyed one of the best meals we've ever had. We had a lentil soup opener that was most savory. We then enjoyed a egg omelette with prawns, greens and smoked salmon. The main course was bacalaho done perfectly. It was a beautiful portion of line caught fish and the best bacalaho I've ever had. Dessert did not disappoint as we enjoyed an amazing vanilla creme with cubed custard and orange glaze. The service was stellar. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This was my favourite restaurant that I ate in Vigo, particularly due to the food and the inviting, unpretentious local atmosphere. We made a reservation for 3:15pm and the place was busy and filled with locals. We shared the grilled scallops (fresh, simple but tasty) and I had the Angus steak (400g) which was melt in your mouth, came with a side of vegetables and rice and was delicious. My friends got the lamb and the prawn and fish rice, both received high praise. The service was attentive and helpful.

Atmosphere and service is a 10/10 no doubt. The only reason I give a 4* is because it used to have better quality food and prices were cheaper too. I understand the inflation and all that but at least I would expect the same quality. Fish was brilliantly prepared but the starters and dessert dropped in quality. It used to be my go to when I’m in town but I’ll be tempted to try and go somewhere else next time. Possibly Follas Novas.
