Since my flight got cancelled out of Vigo, I had an extra day to spend some time exploring. I saw that Casa Marcos was one of the most reviewed restaurant in TA so I decided to check it out. The bf called around 1pm to see if they were open. Yes they were open and completely booked however we got Lucky and a 1:30 table was available. We left the hotel on foot and arrived there on time.

It’s nicely decorated and I felt that I was under dressed. They didn’t say anything so I was cool with it. Prices aren’t too expensive. Bottles of wine range from 16€+.

Bread: I assumed the bread was COMPLIMENTARY because the server just put it on our plates. Later when they bill came, they charged us 2€ for each piece. I didn’t even want it but since it was there, I nibbled on it. It’s not that great.

Then the server brought out a blended pineapple chupito with sprinkles of jamon. Weird combination - tasted alright.

Croquettes: delicious and came in an edible bowl. I was surprised at how many pieces were there - probably 8 pieces.

Foi special - the presentation was beautiful. The Foi with the sweet jelly on top of the toast was a great combination.

Uni scrambled eggs - I didn’t taste too much uni and it was very very wet. I thought it needed a bit of fluff.

Overall, great dining experience. The food was great but not spectacular. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items. Anyways, I would be back to try...

This restaurant is nothing short of extraordinary. From the first moment, everything — the service, the ambiance, the timing — was executed with quiet confidence and grace. No showboating. Just genuine hospitality and effortless flow.

And the food? Stunning. Every dish was a masterclass in balance and technique. Artfully plated, but never for show — every element had purpose. This is not style over substance; it’s style with substance, deeply rooted in skill and soul.

The flavors were bold yet refined. Smoke, acid, texture, temperature — all harmonized with intention. The smoker? Absolutely used, and used with precision. It wasn’t there to impress — it was there to elevate. And it did.

The menu read like a story — cohesive, seasonal, and full of personality. This is food that respects ingredients, honors technique, and surprises the palate without trying too hard.

If you want an experience that reminds you why food matters — why it’s an art, a craft, and a joy — this is...

Local agradable y...

Such a darn good restaurant located in Vigo!!! Enjoy the rice or the steak or anything there is! Xtreme fans like myself go often. Insist on a nice "Vino Tinto"(Red Wine) w lunch Never leave without having a "chupito" at end. You can sometimes have a chupito w alcohol. Or you can have the after meal coffee without. Unless you really try both, its hard to judge . Regardless, this place is amazing either way My compliments to the chefs and staff here. On my next trip to Vigo, I am heading here 1st Unless you hate good food, you better stopby Then, after YOU'VE tried the food, write here & Help others discover this real gem !
