The Coffee Land — Restaurant in Vigo

Open, spacious environment with a relaxed, modern feel, and excellent, award winning coffee. Great selection of cakes, milkshakes, and cocktails too. Friendly service and popular with the breakfast crowd.

All still true a few years on. Notable changes are that there's maybe less seating outside now, but I think it's all the better for the move to new premises on the main road. The décor has a more natural, industrial feel that I prefer, and the cakes and biscuits are made fresh, in-house. They also now run barista courses upstairs for those who take their coffee really seriously, which seems appropriate to anyone visiting the land of coffee!

Another year on they still got it! Awesome cakes and always trying...

Este es el típico sitio que en una ciudad grande y realmente competitiva duraría 3 meses. El café es mediocre, el diseño del local está entre un Starbucks y un McDonalds y la atención al cliente no es la mejor del mundo. No lo recomiendo.

ACTUALIZO visto que uno de los propietarios ha decidido contestar con una actitud un poco peculiar:

Si has contestado cuando "no soléis contestar", igual es que sabes que lo que estoy diciendo os lo está diciendo (tanto aquí como en el local) más gente, y te molesta que te lo dejen por escrito.

He ido al local varias veces, sorprendido por las buenas críticas (hay de todo, pero más buenas que malas) y el contraste con mi experiencia allí, y tu café es mediocre. Busca la definición en el diccionario, porque es eso, un café "mediano o regular, tirando a malo".

Al personal del local muy contento no lo debes tener, porque las veces que he estado desde luego nadie derrocha amabilidad ni cercanía. No he tenido una experiencia especialmente mala allí, de ahí lo de "no es la mejor del mundo".

Lo de que seas campeón de España -que ya lo sabía-, como si lo eres mil veces: no significa nada. En tu local sirves un café mediocre y lo sabes perfectamente. No hay nadie con dos dedos de frente en Vigo que piense que sirves un buen café. Pregúntale al resto de cafeterías de especialidad de la ciudad qué piensan del café que sirves.

Descalificar a una persona que no conoces, y en público, más aún siendo un cliente, es un poco extraño: yo estoy calificando tu café y tu local, no a tí como persona, puesto que no te conozco de nada y no se me ocurriría hacer tal cosa.

PD: Las comillas que has puesto están mal puestas. Hay que mejorar un poquito en...

The best coffee experience I ever had, we visited Vigo on summer vacation but never expecting to find a coffee place that good. Their coffees are simply amazing, cold and hot coffee both are out of the world. My favorite is Mocaccino which is perfect blend of coffee, milk and cocoa, I can have that again and again. Not just coffee but their fail cake varieties are out of the work, the apple cake and lemon cake is exactly like how i want, the fruit flavors are subtle and now over powering the taste.
