Amazing food and service, one of my best experiences in Tenerife. First I tried the Canarian dish Ropa Vieja, which was absolutely sublime. Definitely recommend trying it! However, I still felt a bit hungry after that. In hindsight I should have ordered a dessert, but instead I tried my luck on another traditional Canarian dish: Escaldón. The owner warned me that it's quite heavy, but I felt brave. Unfortunately the owner was completely right and I could barely finish half of it. It's a very dense, doughy stew, that hits you like mortar. Definitely not bad, but impossible to finish if you already had one dish. As if I not felt bad enough already the owner was so nice that he proposed to cut the price in half for the dish I didn't finish. Of course I didn't accept, but it was a nice gesture non the less.

Authetic tenerife food for fair prices. We drank here a traditional Barrquito and it was one of the best we had on our tenerife round trip holiday for 2 weeks. The staffs are really nice and friendly. We also tried to have dinner there but at 8 am they were already sold out. We try again tomorrow.

Very friendly, engaged and attentive staff. Delicious local homemade food. Lovely location. Had entrecôte medium-rare with papa canarias 👌✨ Croquetas, Chorizo, Mixed Salad and the delicious Cheescake “Quesillo” as dessert 🥰 Can very recommend and looking forward to visiting again the next time.

A tiny hole in the wall in a backwater village. Stunning food, all home made. "Ropa Veija" (old clothes!) was a taste marvel. Th croquetas are genuine homemade (often claimed but often false) and the desserts are heavenly. And amazingly cheap - great value.
