TascAndrés — Restaurant in Vilaflor

While exploring the village, we happened to find this charming little restaurant, and it turned out to be one of the loveliest surprises of our trip.

We started with the traditional Canarian potatoes served with red and green mojo sauce - simply perfection! Such a humble dish, yet so rich in flavor that I could honestly eat it every single day. Then came the croquettes - crispy on the outside, unbelievably soft and creamy on the inside, they just melt in your mouth.

For the main course, we had rabbit in salmorejo – tender rabbit in a flavorful sauce full of spices and character. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and delicate, and the sauce made the dish unforgettable.

For dessert, the Canarian tiramisu and chocolate mousse were the perfect sweet ending.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even more special.

Prisli jsme z prohlidky el Teide a meli jsme chut a hlad. Pomoci google maps jsme nasli restauraci se 4.7 hvezdami. Jeste jsme premysleli o pizzerii, ktera je asi 10 metru vedle, ale ta byla zavrena. Tak jsme tedy sedli do bufetu TascAndrés. Recenze vetsinove vyborne, protoze nejsme mistni, ale z Czech republic, vetsinu jidel jsme neznali. Divali jsme se na recenze s tim, ze si vybereme podle fotek. To co jsme videli na fotkach nam prislo dost eeeee. Rekli jsme si, ze pujdeme jinam, ale prisla usmevava obsluha, tak jsme si objednali pivo, vino a vodu. Pak jsme si objednali podle obrazku jidlo a cekali, ze to nejak dopadne. No a ono to dopadlo skvele! Bylo to vsechno mega vyborne, huraaaa nejlepsi co jsme meli za 5 dni na Tenerife. Absolutne doporucujeme. Jeste jednou dekujeme, jste skveli!

Volvimos de la excursión al Teide y teníamos hambre. Con la ayuda de google maps encontramos un restaurante con 4,7 estrellas. También pensamos en la pizzería que hay a unos 10 metros, pero estaba cerrada. Así que nos sentamos en el buffet TascAndrés. Las críticas son en su mayoría excelentes, porque no somos locales, sino de la República Checa, no conocíamos la mayoría de los platos. Miramos las críticas, pensando que elegiríamos según las fotos. Lo que vimos en las fotos nos pareció bastante eeeeee. Dijimos que iríamos a otro sitio, pero vino el personal sonriente, así que pedimos cerveza, vino y agua. Luego pedimos la comida según las fotos y esperamos a que saliera de alguna manera. Bueno, ¡resultó genial! Estaba todo mega delicioso, hurra por lo mejor que comimos en 5 días en Tenerife. We came back from the tour of el Teide and we were hungry. With the help of google maps we found a restaurant with 4.7 stars. We also thought about the pizzeria about 10 meters away, but it was closed. So we sat down at the TascAndrés buffet. The reviews are mostly excellent, because we are not locals, but from the Czech Republic, we didn't know most of the dishes. We looked at the reviews, thinking that we would choose according to the photos. What we saw in the photos seemed pretty eeeeee. We said we would go somewhere else, but the smiling staff came, so we ordered beer, wine and water. Then we ordered the food according to the pictures and waited for it to turn out somehow. After we climbed Teide, we searched for a place to eat in our path, and we found this restaurant with lota of good reviews, and we said let's try it. We were not disappointed. It's a local traditional restaurant, in a nice place. The food is amazing, at a very good prices. The rabbit is a must try, and the chocolate mousse (I liked the branding on the small cholocate chip) is very very delicious. Also the balls were very good, with a variety of meat. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, we couldn't stayed outside, but it was ok even on the inside. Definitely...
