SCAM! TOURIST TRAP!
I strongly advise against this place! This restaurant is an expert at scamming tourists and charging them for things they never ordered.
There were four of us. As a “starter,” we were given four bread rolls that we never asked for—of course, they later charged us €4 for them! We also ordered roasted potatoes, and they brought sauces with them. Everywhere else in Tenerife, these sauces are included for free. But when we got the bill, we saw they had added an extra €3 for the sauces!
When we pointed out that they had charged us for things we never ordered, the staff shamelessly replied: “You shouldn’t have eaten them.” This is outright fraud!

When I got back to my car, an employee came out and yelled at me. I tried to explain they weren’t open when I parked and I planned on giving them business/money but he turned his back on me and stormed off. So, I walked inside to buy stuff and he just ignored me. A woman working the bar finally got me what I ordered but she was also rude. Worst service I’ve ever experience in Tenerife. Oh- also, there was ONE other car in the parking lot. My car being there was not preventing other clients from...
Read moreThis place is amazing for where it is - the highest established proper community village in the whole of Spain! I know one can find other places on the island for whatever reason, but these guys have always been here for as long as I have visited (more than a decade) and they are always authentic and welcoming. Great location on the intersection of three routes, lovely stopover for cyclists and national park visitors, a great introduction for the unique community of Vilaflor and a local family run business- what more to ask? I have no clue how they manage to keep their prices that low and decline card tips but wish them all the best and hope to visit on my every future trip to amazing Tenerife - many thanks and couldn’t recommend more, you guys...
