Restaurante Fortuna 1991 — Restaurant in Vilanova i la Geltrú

This is a deservedly popular family run Chinese restaurant in a quiet street just near the Central Market in Vilanova y la Geltrú. We've been there a couple of times now and it's been busy but there is always a warm, smiling welcome. The menu is extensive and yet they seem to be able to produce the dishes quickly and with nice presentation. All the dishes we've chosen so far have been tasty and hot. The venue is clean and smart with an authentic Chinese decor and there is generally a very nice atmosphere. Prices are not too bad and both times we've been there the boss has offered us a free drink or coffee at the end of the meal, as well as free lollies for our 5 year old. Lovely atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly, and attentive. Some dishes were OK and the rest could be improved. Hormigas en arbol (video) was recommended and it was tasty. Estafa grandisima. La chica que nos atendió nos recomendo pedir menú ya que eramos muchos, 10 personas en total. Nos dijo que luego podiamos cambiar lo que quisieramos del menu, sin informarnos de que nos cobraria la diferencia del plato mas 1€ por el cambio, pero bueno en parte es "logico" pero si lo recomiendas como camarera deberias explicar tambien lo del suplemento. Comida normal nada del otro mundo, bien, salvo por un plato que sabia como si la comida se hubiera tragado todo el humo de la cocina. Luego la chica le tiro la copa a mi novio y no tuvo el detalle de ponerle una nueva en compensación por tirar su consumición. Ademas al final nos ofrecio chupitos, OJO CON LOS CHUPITOS, 4,25€ el chupito, UN ROBO, nos alcanzo la cuenta a 20€ por cabeza, no comimos tanto y la calidad no era para pagar tanta cantidad.
