Restaurante Tosca — Restaurant in Xàbia / Jávea

From the moment we arrived at Restaurante Tosca in Javea we knew we were in for a very special evening.. Starting with a warm welcome and being escorted to a delightful table that was impeccably set for an anniversary dinner for my wife and I. We were amazed that the lovely owner Marta decorated such a lovely table for only two diners.

The selection from the menu proved to be quite a challenge due to a varied selection of phenomenal choices of wines, first course and entrees The champagne we selected with the assistance from our waiter was delivered properly chilled with a festive sparkler for the occasion, the meal itself was presented and prepared to perfection. My wife selected a first course of small baby mussels and I selected the Duck Foie Gras which was followed with a rack of lamb for my wife and I chose the de-boned sole. Everything was excellent, beautifully presented, and prepared to perfection

My wife and I travel extensively iin the USA and Europe, we would rate Restaurante Tosca as one of the most memorable dining experiences we have...

We went here last year, and again this year for my birthday and then once more, because the Sol menu changed and it is just sooo good.

For me this is the best restaurant in Javea. My review is for the Sol, lunch menu (because we have a 2 year old). With what I've tasted, the love of food and ingredients shines through. Flavours are light and interesting and the service is impeccable. The lady server is lovely, can't understand a word she says but she is a ray of sunshine. Wines are also fabulous.

The second time we went I paid and because I am so bad at math I undertipped a little (my husband pointed this out later and I felt horrible). We'll make that up when we come back. Thank you so much for the best food and service...

Not very hearty portions as one would imagine Excellent service by head of house, and secondary waiter.

Prompt attention for everything. Good wine selection with local and regional options. Very reasonably priced in relation to other places around the area.

As far as seafood goes there is something here for everyone. They were even thoughtful enough to cap the dinner with a glass of moscato which is a small gesture but it does make a nice impression after a pleasant dining...
