What a discovery
Sometimes you just stumble upon a place that gets it right – and this is one of them. It’s a bit tucked away, which makes it feel even more like a hidden retreat. We arrived on a blazing hot day, desperate for shade, and found the perfect spot under the trees.
Our dog Floki was immediately offered a bowl of fresh water – a small gesture that says a lot. We started with an ice-cold beer and a dame blanche (the waiter didn’t even blink – which we found both impressive and hilarious), and ended up ordering the cheese and charcuterie platter. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care.
The atmosphere was relaxed, the service warm and welcoming. You just feel that this place is run with heart.
We know there’s been some unfair noise about this new owner lately, but honestly – it couldn’t be further from what we experienced. This is a lovely spot, and we’re already looking forward to coming...

Today,we had the 16 euro menu starting with mixed tapas Inc abondigas,croquetas & cocas,then the main course of pork in a delicious creamy sauce with veg. Chocolate cake for dessert . Read moreDon't bother! Service is off-hand, probably due to the fact that the place can't cope with only a few busy tables on a Saturday lunchtime. We waited for 20 mins for our drinks and were ignored as we tried to order food. Tables of people were visibly anxious at not getting their orders when the waitress started turning people away. She never came back to us for our food order, just unceremoniously dumped a basket with our drink bill on the table. Such a pity as the terrace was a lovely place to sit, with views...
