El Buen Café — Restaurant in Yaiza

Found this place by chance and would definitely recommend and return when back in PB. This time we had a cooked breakfast and an avocado and tomato on rustic toasted bread and both were excellent. We both had smoothies, which again, were delicious. Next visit we will look at trying something different purely because the menu was so varied and there was plenty to choose from. Came here from 31kms away partly because we wanted to hit the nearby beaches before the crowds showed up. Sunday 9AM can be hit or miss for breakfast and coffee. Well, let’s just say I’m glad we only found El Buen Cafe on Day 13 (out of 14 here) because we might end up making the 62km round trip just for the cappuccino. Yes, it is THAT GOOD. And the Avocado & Fried Egg was lightly crisped perfection too, as was the Tuna Panini. What a great start to another fabulous day here...

We really enjoyed our light lunch here! My wife said it's the best smoothie she's tasted in Playa Blanca.

It's located in a little plaza with a water feature. Very relaxing to eat and drink in the shade with the background tinkling of gently splashing water.

The food was excellent! More food than we expected. It was well presented and very tasty. The host was very friendly and attentive.
