SuperDino Papagayo — Local services in Yaiza

Refurbished 2 year ago but same old problems. Long queues every time I go in, no baskets for shopping and congested in the aisles with staff packing shelves. Fruit and vegetable area lots better than before, but meat and poultry area is terrible with untrained staff and poor displayed items. Watch the prices displayed is not what you pay at the cash desk. Often discounted prices without the discount when paying. I've lived here 12 years and this is by far the most expensive shop in Playa Blanca. Use the hipperdino in the town centre with underground parking which is free with purchases over 6€ ask check out staff for ticket for parking. Shame for clients with no car trapped close by this...

This is a larger store than others we have visited in Playa Blanca, so consequently there is much more choice. It has a meat and cheese counter rather than just offering pre-packed alternatives as the smaller stores do. I had paid a visit to the overseas Iceland/Waitrose store. On multiple occasions both myself and my partner have visited this shop to have the experience of being rushed through the checkout before we have packed. Today the girl was tapping her fingers in annoyance at me where in other supermarkets I am usually offered assistance to pack.
