I do not often write reviews, but i will make an exception in this case. Upon arrival, i was told to wait, which i can understand, however just before the maximum time i was willing to wait, which was about 20 minutes at that point, someone finally offered me a seat. A small, hallway seat, not that comfy, but the place was supposedly fully booked. I ordered a regular coke, but received a coke zero. I wanted to mention this, but my spanish is limited, but i ultimately managed to get a regular coke. (I am certain the owners will remember me by this "coke" incident coming the check.) About the food then, which i rate medium, i ordered "patatas a la gresca", which are baked/fried patatoes, but a bit too expensive at €12 & the "crocanti de pollo", which is fairly priced at €13, but just was not my taste, which is personal. Since it was not my taste, i asked the check, but upon receiving the check, i noticed both cokes on it. I asked them to correct this, but they initially told me to pay, they checked with another server who said i "drank" from the coke zero, thus had to pay, for which was their initial mistake??? I said this was untrue, yet they still persisted, i felt like they were calling me a liar, but my spanish is limited. It was ultimately corrected by who i believe was the manager. Couple of side notes, upon waiting, i did not receive a lot of attention, but when 5 not that unattractive girls walked in, suddenly becoming a bit more helpful? Keep in mind the earning per customer, if treated well, i probably spend well, i am taller/bigger & often order for more than 1, not here. Also, please create structure/organization, i observed the place, service is chaotic, lots of staff, but all over the place, which is unpractical given the...
Read moreI recently had the misfortune of dining at Meli Melo, and let me tell you, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. First off, the food was beyond mediocre—bland, uninspired, and utterly forgettable. It was like the chef had given up on life and decided to take it out on the customers’ taste buds.
But wait, it gets worse! The service was not just bad; it was excruciatingly terrible. The staff was rude, inattentive, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. They clearly had no concept of hospitality and couldn’t care less about their patrons’ experience.
To top it all off, the restaurant was a sauna. Non-climatised and stifling, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the subpar meal in front of us. And just when you think it couldn’t get any worse—oh, but it does! The prices are astronomical for what you get. I felt like I was being robbed blind for the privilege of suffering through such an abysmal experience.
In short, Meli Melo is an overpriced, overheated nightmare with dreadful food and even worse service. Save yourself the agony and go...

Phenomenal, we had our post wedding event here the staff were incredible service. The food was delicious Absolutely amazing food. All 28 of us very very happy.
Really great, my favourite tapas: the rice with meat and mushrooms and the potato filled with Ternasco. My boyfriend had his favourite ternasco and goat cheese lollipop too. We ordered a salad which was a fantastic portion, looked delicious and beautiful in presentation - sadly I didn't eat it because I forgot to ask if the salad contained nuts - it came with romescu sauce which has almonds in - we didn't send the beautiful salad backof course because this was totally my fault and my issue - however important for other customers to ask when ordering the cod salad (if you're allergic) to ask them to leave the romescu dressing off of the salad (I don't think the romescu was advertised on the menu) so don't forget to ask! Looking forward to returning and having the same again (minus the...
