Nowadays new scam of Sri Lanka is on food, I am Asian tourist and I know exactly what I should be get with the price I pay.

So I pay USD20 and get 2 fry rice, the bamboo special is 2 eggs, few vegetables and one 3 month old small shrimp which I pay for USD 13. ( yes, one small shrimp taste like rubber ), too bad I sit there, and attract a lot of tourist to get in also, my fault, this shop is no people before I when inside.

While you could simple 5 shrimp local food and Colombo with USD 0.33, this is too over to try to make big rice to cover the tiny part of ingredient.

Too bad, that is nothing reasonable price you could get at Dambulla nowadays after the country situation, I would suggest you avoid this place and go to Nalanda to having your lunch.
