Ceylon TEA CABIN — Restaurant in Central Province

Overall experience very bad - Waffle 🧇 was not according to the menu - Crepe mixture was used to make the waffle and the presentation looked terrible - the taste was nothing like a waffle as they had used crepe mixture to make the waffle - Above disappointment was shared with the consultant who was apologetic and refunded the money for the so called waffle - Tea was excellent Milk shake was good too …

Was made to understand that the Chef is qualified and sadly Hotels corporation trained and sadly didn’t know the difference between a waffle and Pancake. The Crepe Waffle was not consumed and was yellow in colour.1

Won’t recommend this venue ☹️

This is a really beautiful experience of having tea, with all the comforts you would look for: charging stations, WiFi, decent space and air conditioning. They serve a wide array of teas and snacks to go along with it. Go ahead,feel a little adventurous and order a unique blend from their menu.

For something to munch, may I suggest their Sri Lankan Coconut Pancakes that come wrapped in a sweet coconut mixture that's such a relief from the other spicy food Sri Lanka offers!

You will come here for the tea, but stay for the snacks, the spacious tables to work and read a book at, and recharge you devices and your spirits for the...
