I walked in without a reservation on a very busy Monday evening, and although the restaurant was full, the staff kindly checked with the owner, who graciously offered me a seat at the bar. After a long 5-hour train journey (and one cancellation!), I was absolutely craving some good Desi comfort food and this place delivered beyond expectations.

The paneer pakora arrived piping hot, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. The mutter paneer was rich, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch, no pre-mixed shortcuts here. To finish off, the Kaju Pista kulfi was simply out of this world, and the chai was the perfect comforting touch to end the meal.

I didn’t capture photos of every dish, but I made sure to take one of the dessert because I knew I’d want to remember this experience.

The ambiance was lively yet cozy and I have to mention the Bajaj Chetak hanging from the ceiling, which was such a cool thing! The owner was incredibly kind and was chatting while I was enjoying my meal at the bar.

I’m already planning to return tomorrow for dinner, that’s how...

If you are looking to eat brilliant food. Come right here. I frequent in Gothenburg very regularly and this is my go to spot for some good food at a good price. The food here is well done and well cooked and you can tell that time and effort was put in to make sure their service is top notch. The staff here are extremely friendly, helpful and easy to talk to which is a huge plus for travellers who are shy. Again I will comment on the food, absolutely bang on. It has a home cooked feel. This is a really high quality restaurant and I’d recommend it to all.

P.S. there is a review by a gentleman by the name of Kevin. Majority of the reviews on his profile consist of 1 star reviews and falsely placing negative reviews on restaurants. Whether he does it for fun I don’t know, but what I can tell you is that he doesn’t know good food if it slapped him in the face. Take it from me this restaurant has very many very positive reviews, and they deserve every bit of success! Please try this place out, you won’t...

Delicious food and a kind owner makes a great recipe for success!

I am visiting Sweden for work and decided to eat at Bombay Street on my last night. The ambience is very good with the walls covered in posters of old bollywood and some Tamil movies. The seating arrangement mimics that of a local train which is pretty cool!

I ordered samosa chat, malai kofta and chapati (tandoori roti) for dine in and 2 aloo tikkis to go. The portion sizes were really good. The samosa chaat was really really good. Not every restaurant can make a good samosa and I would rate them 10 on their samosa. I throughly enjoyed the malai kofta. Because I am visitor in Sweden, the owner gave me a glass of mango lassi which was very flavorful and had the right amount of sweetness. When the owner realized I was leaving the next day, he packed some additional malai kofta and rice for me for the flight. Thank you so much for your kindness!

I will probably visit Sweden again and I’ll definitely stop by at...

**Please note that I do not give this score lightly. As a lover of Indian food I frequently try different Indian restaurants. I've eaten Indian food in Japan, Norway, Sweden, Greece and many other countries (unfortunately I haven't visited India yet). Moreover, I can count on one hand how many times I've enjoyed an Indian meal this much. If I had to describe my experience at Bombay Street with one word I would use the word: succulent. The naan bread was out-of-this-world and the sauces contained a palatable explosion of tastes. As if the experience wasn't pleasant enough, the owners even provided a tasty (free) dessert. Try this restaurant and I promise you, you will not regret it. 10/10, would eat here again. P.S. please note that I ordered an appetizer, grilled chicken, and two different naans. As such, I'd argue the restaurant is very affordable.
