The absolute worst experience we had during our stay in Sweden.
Pizza dough is thin and dry, prices are high considered that the culinary experience is as great as eating a frozen pizza at home.
After asking twice to pay I had to go myself to the desk and ask to pay, to which i was handed the card terminal and explained that I have the option to give a tip.
After having been sitting for 35 min in front of my dirty plates (because no one thought of taking them) I did not think that the service deserved any tip.
To which the guy at the desk cancelled my payment and explained me that they don’t take my kind of credit card.
My credit card had been working fine at every place in Sweden until that point.
So I was forced to walk to the next ATM to withdraw cash and walk back to pay (I did not even get a receipt) in cash.
I did not want to cause a scene by telling the guy with his fake smile that i know that he just does not want to accept my card because i declined to give him a tip.
His statement was “i really don’t know why your card does not work”. Before I went to get cash he said “yeah mastercard does not work here. only visa”
DONT GO THERE. The food is overpriced and the payment situation is a...
Read moreLove this place! We stayed at the Liseberg Hotel Curiosa for Christmas and New Years and returned here many times for dinner. My husband owns restaurants in NYC and all over the world and usually when we go out to eat at a new place he always comments on the food, service or ambiance. This is the first time I didn’t hear a single complaint. He ordered the lamb rack twice and said it’s “excellent”. If he says so it truly is. And the Dijon salad dressing is something you’d like to buy on bottle because it’s addictive. I had the Vegetable pizza and ordered it 2 times because it was so great!
This place is dog friendly, friendly in general but especially for kids. It quickly has become our place to go to and we are greeted like long time friends.
We can truly recommend a visit here! We will be returning again and again… as long as we...
Read moreThis was such an odd experience. When we first entered two of the staff were arguing with a guest and the older member of staff was clearly agitated. After a while of standing in the door we asked if we could take a seat and the response was very odd. If we weren’t all really hungry and kind of lost we would have already left at this point. Soon after sitting the older waiter came up and wanted our order rapido even though all of us weren’t decided. We got pasta for our 2yo and it was incredibly salty. Like, really really salty. I ordered pizza bianco and it was so dry, basically like eating a papadam. The red pizza was more ok but all in all this place was so odd and completely over priced. The physical place was good though, the audial ambience was pleasant and the lighting was cozy. But this was such an...
