Hai Lua Quan Asiatiska Bistro — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

A fairly new restaurant that claims to be traditional Vietnamese. While the place looks cute, the menu is rather disappointing for vegans. Basically only one dish is available (Bun Xao, rice noodle salad) and even Summer Rolls can only be made vegan by asking nicely. Not super welcoming on that front. The Bun Xao is surprisingly nice with decently seasoned tofu and a beautiful arrangement, but served with just soy sauce is a bit of a disappointment. Though it is still good and at a price tag of 149 SEK affordable, it’s nothing I would actively come back to. When you are around the neighbourhood it’s a good option, but other than that, plenty of better Vietnamese restaurants around Gothenburg....

The best Vietnamese restaurant in Gothenburg so far. Highly recommended for anyone who want to try authentic Vietnamese food beside "Phở".

For starter, we got "Gỏi ngó sen tôm" - no.8, which is perfect for a hot summer day. I got "Cơm sườn bì chả" (or Cơm Tấm) - no. 22 for main course, very close to the one we have in VN. My girlfriend got "Bún bò nướng + chả giò" - no. 39 which also tasted well. The meat was tender inside, marginated so well. Will definitely come...

really good vietnamese food here in Sweden, which surprised me. we had bun thit nuong (pork vermicelli) and com bo nuong trung (beef rice with egg). the marinade for the meats are pretty good despite being slightly different from california viet food flavors (which i’m used to). it’s a bit farther from the city center but next to the big theme park. highly recommend if...
