Lucy's Burger — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Nice and cosy place with good burgers and a lovely view at Eriksberg.

Food: I had "Kockens", the chef's choice. Double smash with roasted onions, bacon mayo, triple cheddar and maple syrup glazed bacon. Good flavors overall but hard to distinguish the meat flavor. Roasted onions weren't homemade and there was too much of it, it was the grocery store type you would put on your hot dogs. Still, this was a good burger (but I will skip the roasted onions next time). 4/5

I got the mix fries (potato and sweet potatoes). Great flavor and crispiness. 5/5

My mom got the "Los Pollos" - Spicy sweet chili marinated chicken wings with a blue cheese dip. Good portion size and the wings were ok, but not more than that. The sweetness of the sauce (thai sweet chili?) quickly becomes too much, and it doesn't help that the whole plate is drenched in it. Do not buy this as a dish for one, it's better to have this as a side for a larger company. 2/5

Service: Unfortunately the service was subpar. After being assigned a table we waited for 10 minutes until I grabbed the menus myself. I had to ask 2 times for a glass of water and got it after 10 minutes. No one checked to see if everything was fine at the table. This wasn't a busy time at the restaurant and we were sitting closest to the pay register. The feeling was that telephone calls related to bookings were prioritized over guests at the actual restaurant.

All in all, this is a burger place and a good one for just that, burgers. A bit expensive and the service wasn't good even though they seem like nice people. I will definitely try this...

I have been visiting this place for more than 1 year 1-2 times per month. This is the best food in Göteborg. But service could be strange sometimes. Recently I was to this place and met new workers. Unfortunately it was a strange experience because after 1.5 hours the man came and said that we were sitting almost for 2 hours and we need to switch to the bar or leave. This is the first time I have experienced such behavior. Nobody told us in advance that the table was booked and the argument that this type of table is for 4 people is not so convincing because normally, when you book the table for 2 at Lucy's you will get exactly this...

Upptäckte ställe på en promenad till Eriksberg veckan innan så bestämde mig för att reservera ett bord fredagen efter för att testa.

Gick hit ensam för att kunna njuta av maten till fullo och för att kunna fokusera på vad jag skall skriva på min recension. Hade av nån anledning förväntat mig med att bli placerad i nått hörn för att större sällskap skulle prioriteras då de drar in mer pengar. Kunde inte ha mer fel!!

Fick välja med att sitta inne eller ute så valde att sitta ute. Fick en väldigt bra plats med fin utsikt över kranen som ni ser i bilderna. 5/5!

Efter att jag lagt min beställning (Lucy's Choice, sötpommes, chipotle mayo och vanligt vatten) så tog det cirka 25 minuter innan maten kom, lite i det längsta laget. Då jag inte var stressad så njöt jag av den fina utsikten! För att tillägga så missade de att servera mig vattnet så fick informera dom att de verkar glömt det. Fick sedan mitt vatten snabbt och de bad om ursäkt och förklarade att de råkat ge det till fel bord.

Maten Vad skall man säga! Väldigt fin hamburgare, bra tillagad och smaker som passade väldigt bra ihop. Mycket god BBQ-sås och baconet var helt perfekt! Rostade löken gav en liten knaprig konsistens. Mycket jalapeno på hamburgare som smälte bra ihop med de andra smakerna. Hamburgaren kanske inte är den vackraste men den smakar helt underbart! (Skulle inte rekommendera att försöka äta med händerna!)

Sötpommesen var lite annorlunda , är inte van med så smala/tunna pommes men de smakade bra!

Chipotle mayon var lite intetsägande, kunde haft lite mer hetta men den passade bra till pommesen.

Allt kostade 200 kronor så prismässigt så tycker jag det var väldigt prisvärt!

Slutord Vill du gå till en hamburgarrestaurang som ligger exakt vid vattnet i Eriksberg med utsikt över Eriksbergskranen och äta en god hamburgare så är detta stället för dig!
