An unpleasant dining experience for sure. The children were so excited to be invited to what should have been “A Fine Dining” experience and were dressed for the occasion. Twin six year olds attending a birthday dinner. However the hamburger / cheeseburger they were served, I would neither eat, nor serve to my dog. When I privately approached The Owner with my concern his response was: “this is what we serve all Swedish children, this is what they eat. We cannot be making them handmade juicy burgers as it takes too long and they don’t want to wait”. Absolutely appalling and utterly untrue, MAX BURGERS a Swedish fast food chain is of far superior quality than the dry, leathery, hockey puck they passed off as edible. Utterly disgusting and worse to think The Owner obviously classifies children as “second class” guests unworthy of proper nutritious meals. Booked this restaurant for a significant birthday celebration and expected fine dining. This is not a fine dining. The waitresses were not knowledgeable about the food nor drink selections. I have been there during lunch time so the price was ok (once in a while). They have Fresh fish dishes, meat & vegetarian dishes every day. Fresh bread & salad us include in the lunch and the special point is that They have desert buffet. They have Nice and experience staff and good view to river.
