The Swedish west coast is the only place in the world where you can get genuine, really good, traditional prawn sandwiches, partly because one understand how to prepare them and partly because one have access to the really good prawns.

Only self-respecting cafeterias serve good shrimp sandwiches. Snövit Cafeteria is one of them. The glutenfree bread was a bit chewy and boring but I forgive them, the rest of the sandwich is awesome! 👌

Unfortunately I have experienced poor pawn sandwiches in typical tourism busy places in Gothenburg and Gothenburg harbor so I suggest to check reviews before going after these...

Had bought vegan morotstårta, carrot cake (did not click pictures) from the shop for a party. It was so bitter, all my friends ate only one bite and the rest went straight to the bin unfortunately. The sponge part had somethibg wrong going in it. Can’t be coffee because it did not taste like coffee or cacao at all, just weird bitter. The whipped cream instead was too sweet and even those who like sweet found it to be an unhealthy amount of sweet! Basically overall it was unbalaced in taste, too bitter bottom and too sweet top. I think something is being put into the recipie that shouldnt be there. I hope this review is not offensive to the chefs but rather is taken as a request to improve, because it is quite expensive price and the cake did not feel...

I was looking for a vegan version of Semla dessert, thinking that it's probably not going to happen. However, the staff at Snövit Konditori were so kind that they offered to make a vegan Semla for me on the spot. I saw how the chef was whipping vegan cream instead of the regular one, and it almost melt my heart! Needless to say, my Semla was absolutely perfect!
