Nice little place that serves brunch all day - although at a steep price. American pancakes, hash browns, bacon, ceasar salad, eggs benedict, waffles, toast on sourdough bread and similar things together with coffee based drinks such.
First of all, the food was good. I had the vegan brekkie, I skipped the vegan sausage, really nice beans and avocado. I tired the other food as well, pancakes - really fluffy although fried in some oil with a lot of flavour that did not taste good, scrambled eggs - super airy and tasty, hash browns where crispy and good but small.
Service was a bit slow, although we were a bit troublesome as we needed to get the kids something to east asap. This then made us have to wait a really long time to order our food, but then the wait for our food was super long, like 25 minutes. Nice staff though really helpful. Not really a kids friendly place even though they serve pancakes - strange yes. No simple jams for the pancakes, instead it's a rhubarb and strawberry jam which of course is more difficult for a kids unrefined palate.
They clean their tables with some vinegar based detergent, so after clearing and cleaning a table it smells a lot and...
Read moreFirst impression was not good. When I came in some spanish girl had a really bad attitude when it came to where we wanted to sit since it was cold by the entrance, she was the one who decided where we would sit and not the customer (keep in mind the restaurant was half full) many of the menu options were unavailable, simple things like like mangoes and strawberries. Multiple dishes had bacon were unavailable also. Overall it was a long waiting for an egg Benedit and some pancakes that was undercooked. To make it all better, me and my two friends that I went with had had stomach ache all night and assume we got food poisoning from the food 🙃
I would not recommend this spot, it’s really a shame because it’s in a nice location in the...
Read moreNice open space but that also means that sounds doesn’t do well so it was quite loud and difficult to hear my friend who was sitting next to me. The first thing we asked for was water whilst we look at the menu, it didn’t arrive, we had to remind the waitress twice for the water. We waited over an hour for the food. On the whole we felt forgotten during our time there, no check ins throughout, any time we wanted something we had to call the waiter over. Perhaps they need more staff or more experienced waiters. When the food arrived, the Benedict was delicious but my friend had the chicken waffle which seemed to be raw and pink in the middle and had to be sent back. Good matcha latte, nice selection...
