If one seeks to eat a delicious burger this is the place to go in Lund. First and most importantly is the food incredible. The different options are mouthwatering when one reads the menu and the burgers are stupendous. The chilli bomb is very hot and not for the faint of heart but delicious. Their dips are also impressive with the tastes. The only problem is that the sweet fries are not as crispy as I hoped but still so tasty that I'll gladly overlook it. When it comes to service this is the best experience I've had in Lund if not Sweden. The reception staff and kitchen staff(who can be interacted with through the food pickup) are welcoming and nice. In contrast to Tugg where my experience with staff is subpar and the food is usually hit or miss as well. The atmosphere is aslo welcoming, cozy and fresh. It looks clean and hygienic and the restrooms are clean and tidy as well.

This place has been hyped up a lot as the best burgers in Lund (and indeed, one of the best in all of Sweden) which might have inflated my expectations too much! They were indeed good burgers - juicy, good flavour, some variety and vegetarian options in the menu - but they are not the best I've tried. The fries were super crispy though, and the dip options were really great! My kid had the tutti frutti shake and it was very good too.

Where they excelled though, was definitely in the service! We were there right at the lunch rush started and the staff were still friendly and attentive, and all tables were cleaned efficiently.

I visited Rekas Burgers yesterday (May 18th 2025) and was pleasantly surprised by the food — the burgers were delicious, and the dirty fries standout. Unfortunately, the good experience ended there.

The service was shockingly bad. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes, the waiter rudely told us to leave without any prior warning. We felt rushed and unwelcome, as if the quality of service didn’t matter once we’d finished our meals. It’s worth noting that they seem to enforce a strict time limit for each table, but rather than handling it professionally, we were essentially kicked out.
