NOM&GO — Restaurant in Lund Municipality

A wonderful and longed-for addition to Lund's restaurant offerings: at last, real Chinese food! Because this is a modest take-out service, they have a limited menu, but what they do have is delicious, authentic and savoury. Their Sichuan pepper is fresh and taste-bud-boggling. Being mainly a takeout, they only have a few tables, but every time I've gone there, I've been able to get one, even though there's lots of competition from happy Chinese students. The prices are reasonable, the food comes fast, and if you don't want MSG (wei jing) in your meal, you can just tell them, and it's no problem, although it doesn't seem that they use it at all, if I understood their Sichuanese correctly (English and Swedish work well too, of course). The food was fine. But the waiting time was sooooo long that we waited for more than 30mins for two dishes to arrive… :( The restaurant was not busy as the time had already passed the dinner hour (after 20:00). I had to go ask them after 20+ mins of the order time and then another 10+more minutes for them to cook after my reminder. Their staff said it would take more time for the stir fry, but really? 30mins? It would be nicer if they simply admitted that they forgot...

We first ordered food during their soft opening, and although they were very busy, we were shown exceptional service. An employee even ran outside to meet us when they realized we had forgotten part of our to-go order. We have returned since then and have been met with the same level of service and quality food.
