Food: I went for the shrimp stired rice and I would order it again of i was not full after the first service. The dish is a good portion. Had about 8 tigershrimps in there, well cooked. The rice had very good seasoning and it was flavored with by the flames hich gave it the extra fried experience I haven't had for a while. Top notch. The veggies were good quality. All in all I enjoyed the dish from start to finish and would definitely recommend to someone wanting stired fried rice. I tasted the beef from the stired fried rice with beef, and the flavor was very well balanced, meet was tender and enjoyable to eat. I dint order the full dish ,but will try it next time. Service: For a place located next to the water, being attractive especially during summer, the reputation of good food might not be enough, good service has to exist to. From entering a lot so busy restaurant, as I arrived around 8pm, there was no staff greeting. I walked into the restaurant to ask for a table. Told the waitress the im interested to sit outside at a table, however there is a bottle from previous guest. I was seated there, the waitress took the bottle, but never came back to clean the table. It took about 15 min for a waiter to approach. We made our orders and I had to ask for the table to be cleaned. The waitress who sat us never showed any interesseret in serving us or other. She was busy texting on her phone behind the bar. At no point did she smile or look like she was happy to be working. From receiving to finishing our food, no one asked if it was good or if we were interested in more. The empty plates sat there on the table, I waited for someone to show service, but nothing. I then went to the bar to the waitress to ask for my bill, not being sorry or asking how the food was nothing. Just said did you get this or this, showing me two bills. I payed off my bill and then left.
Atmosphere: the location, the space, the area its a very nice place, but cleaning the windows would make a big difference, when it's as sunny as it was today.
It's really sad to see such a nice place with good atmosphere and high quality of food, to ruin it all just because of staff that cares absolutely nothing about the...
Read moreAlthough the name suggests Japanese cuisine, the flavors are more reminiscent of Vietnamese dishes, with some Japanese options like ramen and sushi available.
I ordered the beef and lemongrass rice noodle salad (175 kr), which was refreshing and flavorful. My husband chose the miso ramen (165 kr) featuring a chicken broth with pork toppings. We also enjoyed coconut drinks, which paired perfectly with our meal and added a lovely tropical touch.
The staff were friendly, and we recommend trying the Vietnamese dishes, although we felt that the meat portions were a bit small for the price. Additionally, dogs are allowed outside the restaurant, but not inside.
Overall, it’s a cozy spot for lunch...
Read moreI had the tantanmen for lunch and was a little disappointed. The chashu pork was dry and flavorless, there was no minced pork, the noodles were overcooked, the broth was separating, and the marinated egg had a very strange flavor. It is, however, a large portion with more meat than most places give you so I left very full. For the lunch price(119kr), it's just okay. It's not worth the full price (165kr) at all when other places in Malmö have significantly better ramen.
Hopefully other items on the menu are better, but not sure if...
