I’m not going to lie, the food was great. Me and my girlfriend got two different dishes and walked out full and pretty satisfied. I just think it’s a shame that the service fell short. I see so much potential in this restaurant and I believe that it would be a lot more popular if they hired someone who actually knows how to be a server. During our meal I couldn’t help but feel second hand embarrassment for the staff. I even felt the urge to stand up and serve the other customers myself. I support the Islam friendly approach and I think that it fills a great niche, but if your staff can’t drink, then they won’t know how to serve alcohol. If you want to be able to compete with the competitors in the area then at least hire someone who can give basic recommendations and hold a conversation with a customer.
I’m not gonna keep writing about what made my experience bad. But I will offer you a solution. I’ll do the job if you need someone with actual experience in the restaurant business. Reach out if you need help to stay...
Read moreWell recommended! Having tried many Indian Restaurants we went in with limited expectations. Most of the Indian Restaurants in Sweden boil the chicke separately and simply boil them in the curry of the dish you order. It results in half hearted taste as is the effort.
Wait, this place was most authentic. For a change, we ordered vegetarian dishes this time. The Mutor Paneer, Dal and Garlic Nan was absolutely delicious and as original as you would expect. You can taste the spices and less of the usual Tomato puree.
We can definitely recommend the vegetarian dishes. We look forward to tasting the non vegetarian dishes with the meat cooked in the spices as they should be.
Visit this place and Enjoy! We had a good time.
Service staff is very friendly, with well decorated...
Read moreIf you live in Västra Hamnen this should absolutely be your go-to Indian spot. We have gotten take out many times but we finally ate in the restaurant and the food is 10/10 when it comes to Indian food I've eaten in Malmö. It's only competitor for me is Restaurang Delhi. The service is wonderful and the food comes out piping hot. My favorite dish is palak paneer and this might be my favorite version in Malmö. The naan is perfect, especially the cheese naan. We also love their papadum (their mango chutney is also perfect) and of course chicken tikka masala. We order the basics so I can't judge too much of the menu but this is definitely a top spot for us...
