Laziza Dockan — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

I often dine at Laziza Baltzarsgatan and Dockan because they have great food. Today (20th May 2022) at Dockan, I brought 2 guests with me from abroad and we came in at 11:08 Table 25. One of the guests was finishing food at 12:10 when we were approached by the waitress telling that the restaurant has 1 hr dine-in policy. Then the same waitress came back after 2 minutes telling me that "I have guests waiting outside." I was never aware of this policy and if this is a new one, no one told us at the cashier (By the way, the lady at the cashier was more accommodating). I was embarrassed that we were the only table and customers treated that way. This is frustrating that the waitress at Dockan branch was mainly targetting us and I was embarassed by this attitude with other customers looking at us. Also, we found that seats outside were available.

I hope that the restaurant can look into this and train the staff to communicate properly with guests.

Your food is no doubt highly recommended and other staff were warm and polite. However, this waitress telling us customers (who were obviously chewing last spoonful of food and the other having coffee) to leave the place twice in a span of 2 minutes was very rude. We left the place...

Great lunch restaurant and packed with long queue during the peak hour. I work in the neighborhood and this is one of the best with good price. I can understand some other revieweres don't like the rush. But imagin if this restaurant is located at the expensive business district, they have to optimize the turnaround within that hour. I can tell the waiter/waitress are trying their best to achieve the throughput. The first time I was there, it was raining and we have to wait for a table. But when it's our turn to get the table, the credit card machine was broken. The waitress simply let us in and pay later. Overall, I still felt the staff is still friendly to handle one incidence after another.

I once ate at the restaurant at 1pm, and decided to bring home 3 takeaway boxes. The restaurant was almost empty, and the staff was extremely helpful. Therefore, if you are looking for a calm dining experience, you should...

A great spot for lunch — especially in summer when there are no queues, and especially on Fridays, because that’s when they serve lamb with rice! It’s so perfectly cooked, the lamb literally melts in your mouth. The only downside? It disappears fast! ;)))

The price for this lunch is just 135 SEK, which is about 12 euros — and that’s for a buffet. So you get to taste a whole range of Middle Eastern cuisine, including unique hummus varieties and fresh salads with pomegranate and mint. The hummus is so popular that they now produce it as a separate product, and you can even buy it in supermarkets!
