I had the privilege of sitting with Erik and Ellinor to plan the catering for my PhD dissertation dinner and what they created was astonishing. Equally, the food at their restaurant is scrumptious, and the setup is very simple but with attention to the details, starting with their beautiful plates. Spill started great, I ve been a customer since the beginning and it was always a pleasure to have lunch there. The food was creative and tasted great. However, as it became more popular the quality and the taste have highly deteriorated. The past year, I haven’t had a meal that I ve thought it tasted great. We used Spill to cater a dinner this evening : the vegetarian 'main' they provided for our guests was 'broccoli and cauliflower '. Broccoli and cauliflower. We are in Sweden in 2024. One would think that if a restaurant cannot think of a main other than 'broccoli ' the restaurant would let the clients know so that the clients could provide an actual main course to guests. Avoid this place, it was just sad this evening...
