Dockside Burgers & Bar Malmö — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

We came to this restaurant for lunch on September 28, 2023, at 1:30 PM, hoping to enjoy some burgers and outdoor seating. However, as we were finishing our meal, a waitress approached us and abruptly informed us that the restaurant was closed now (it was 2:00 PM.) This surprised us because we weren't given any prior notice about the closing time. While we understood the need to close, the lack of advance notice left us feeling somewhat inconvenienced.

What truly struck us as unacceptable, though, was the subsequent refusal when I requested permission to use the restroom to wash my hands after eating an oily burger. To my surprise, this request was denied. Furthermore, when I asked for a simple napkin as an alternative solution, it was once again denied. The waitress essentially conveyed that it was my own problem to resolve the issue of my soiled hands.

Leaving the restaurant with oily, mayo-covered hands was both rude and shocking, although there was an element of humor in the situation. Regrettably, based on this disappointing service experience, I find it difficult to recommend this establishment to...

A burger place by the marina. Small, and pretty crowded when I was there. Pretty good atmosphere.

As there was a line when I got there I used the QR code to order my food. Not the best webapp I’ve ever user, but I managed to get my order in.

Got my burger and my fries after about 14 minutes. They missed the beer, but got it for me immediately when I mentioned it.

The burger was average. The patty was thin, which I like. But there was something that made it taste a but bland. Maybe due to the salad. Unclear.

The fries I didn’t care much for. Thin, salty and a bit rubbery - almost chewy. Not terrible, but I didn’t eat very many.

New burger joint that opened a few weeks ago, so there are still some minor kinks to work out and staff needs to get in to their routines. Service was quick and friendly.

Burger is really good, juicy patty with an excellent bread, still need to work a bit on the composition of the burger though.

Nicely decorated place that combines a warmer feel of a neighbourhood bar/café with the more strict Västra Hamnen style.

Although the place isn't very large there are a lot of seating available, both tables, bar stools and outdoor seating.
