Kitchen & Cocktails — Restaurant in Norrköpings kommun

I recently visited Kitchen & Cocktails and unfortunately, my experience wasn't perfect. I ordered the ceviche, hoping for a fresh and vibrant dish, but it fell short in several aspects.

Firstly, the flavor of the ceviche was disappointing. The salmon had a distinct smoked or salted taste, which deviated from the traditional preparation that relies on lime and lemon to impart a refreshing tang. This unexpected flavor profile took away from the essence of a true ceviche experience.

Moreover, the foundation of the dish, the shrimp chips, was already soggy when it arrived at the table. It's crucial for the chips to provide a crisp and textural contrast to the ceviche, but unfortunately, they failed to deliver. This compromised the overall enjoyment of the dish.

The ceviche was also served on a bed of lettuce, which seemed out of place and not in line with the traditional presentation. The addition of lettuce not only distracted from the flavors of the seafood but also felt like an odd choice that didn't complement the dish at all.

While the atmosphere and service at Kitchen & Cocktails were decent, the disappointing aspects of the ceviche were hard to overlook. As a fan of ceviche, I was expecting a more authentic and well-executed rendition. Regrettably, this dish fell short of my expectations.

I hope that Kitchen & Cocktails takes this feedback constructively to improve the quality of their ceviche and maintain consistency with the traditional flavors and presentation.

Overall, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend the ceviche at Kitchen & Cocktails based on my experience. However, I am open to trying other dishes on their menu in the future, as their cocktails and atmosphere...

Väldigt mysigt ställe och fräscha toaletter! Servisen kändes inte helt vakna/på tårna. Tog 3h från att vi satte oss tills vi ätit klart våra 3 rätter, tog lång tid mellan beställningarna och maten att komma ut. Förrätterna var väldigt goda, skaldjurs cannelloni var klart bäst i mitt tycke, ända negativa att det var ganska mycket av den goda såsen kvar efter man ätit upp cannelloni biten, skulle vara bra med en bit bröd till eller en till bit cannelloni för synd att låta den fantastiska såsen gå till spillo för den var verkligen god. Frugan tog hjortcarpaccio och den motsvarade förväntningarna och var väldigt god oxå. Varmrätterna blev vi både något besvikna på, frugan tog fisk grytan men den var ärligt en soppa, väldig goda smaker men en soppa. Och något lite fisk i den, väldigt mycket rotfrukter osv men borde vara mer fisk i då det är en huvudrätt. Och enligt servitris skulle den innehålla torsk, vilken den gjorde men den innehöll även lax vilket inte sades. Jag tog pepparbiff på oxfilé, den var god, dock serverades den med en ingefärskräm uppe på köttet och det framgår inte i beskrivningen, tog över smaken väldigt mycket och äter man oxfilé eller sådan slags kött så vill man ju känna smaken av kött. Rätten i sig kändes väldigt asiatisk inspirerad i smakerna och var god, men hade jag vetat att den serverades på det viset hade jag nog inte beställt in den. Men alltid kul o prova nya smaker, dock var jag sugen på smaken av kött. Dessert tog vi in creme brüle och friterad camembert ost. Brülen var god, bra ”lock” på den, dock något lös. Men bra smak! Den friterade camembert var klockren, serverades med hjortronsylt och friterad persilja och glass, väldigt bra kombo och smaker som gifter sig. Helt klart ett mysigt ställe med bra mat, dock beskrivningen och presentationen av maten...

Idag åt jag kyckling som smakade hemskt. Den var underkokt och hade en konstig vattnig smak när man tuggade på den. När vi bad om att detta grova misstag skulle rättas till tog servitrisen tallriken och försvann i några minuter. Servitrisen kom tillbaka först efter att ha värmt upp kycklingen igen och lämnade sedan tillbaka den till oss och lämnade situationen som den var. En äckligt dålig smak. Flickan som serverade maten var oförskämd och behandlade oss inte som kunder väl. Hon varken kan etikett eller gästfrihet.

Today I ate chicken that tasted terrible. It was undercooked and had a weird watery taste when you chewed it. When we asked for this egregious mistake to be rectified, the waitress took the plate and disappeared for a few minutes. The waitress only came back after reheating the chicken and then returned it to us, leaving the situation as it was. A disgustingly bad taste. The girl who served the food was rude and did not treat us as customers well. She does not know etiquette or...
