The food was good, however 0 star for the service. The waitress/cashier was very rude. When we were ordering food, my friend had a question about a dish and the waitress was just impatient and uninterested to answer. Later when the waitress passed by the table, we asked if we can have some water, she just left and said "pick yourself".
Updates: Went there after 1 year to give another try, shocked by their terrible service once again. We were 2 people and checked online there were free spots in the whole evening, so we just went there right away. The restaurant was mostly empty at the time, and the waitress ignored us at the reception for a while and finally told us its fully booked for the whole night. I told her I checked the booking page before we came, then she said reluctantly that we can get a table.
We sitted for a long time, she never came to the table for orders, so I had to go back to the reception asking if she will come or if we order directly there instead. She said that she will come but we waited for at least another 15mins and we finally got her attention by waving to her. The entire experience was terrible, super slow and finally when the food came, we didn't even get any cutleries or bowls. We had to remind her several times that we didn't get anything to eat with when she was passing by. Eventually, we didn't get any bowls, only the mini underneath plates.
Btw the funny fact is while i was waiting at the reception, there was a customer sitted herself at a table and went to the reception to order, the waitress took the order and asked if it was for take away. The guest pointed to the table she will be at and the waitress never even mentioned it was "fully booked" or anything.
I don't really understand why this restaurant hires rude ppl who would even lie to reject more customers. Apparently there was no enough waitresses, long waiting time for everything and the worst ever services.
Won't come back again and please no AI...
Read moreThe restaurant WAS amazing (perhaps the best in Stockholm) before and we had several business dinners here. As of autumn 2024 however, the food got a lot worse. It's eadable but the pork tasted a bit too old/stale last time, they tell me the the old chef is fired or somewhere else because he was too slow!?!? I don't mind waiting some 30 min if it's amazing food. The last 6 months we tried it 3 times to just confirm, but unfortunately the prices don't justify food that is of similar quality to your average Chinese buffet. Apparently the new chef is "good" because he is fast the staff told me over phone. We contacted the restaurant again but a new employee was quite rude, so we called the HQ and they gave us the owners numer for us to see if the old chef will return, as soon as we asked this question however, the owner will not get back to us anymore. Feels unprofessional. We miss the old chef and the old servers, they still have good beer they make themselves but that's it. We hope the old chef will return because he was probably the best in town, I want to visit whatever restaurant he is working at now. As for the new chef he is fast and sloppy, the food would be 3/5 if it cost 100SEK, but it costs 3X or 4X that amount. For other recommendations: If you want similar food but at great prices visit "Lilla Asien" at Vesterbroplan, their lunch buffet is great. If you want very good Chinese food, visit EatEast at...
Read moreWe enjoyed the food a lot and the service was good as well, but up until one point (this happened last week):
My girlfriend had a really unpleasant encounter with a downright racist staff member. My GF, who's been living here for 5 years as a foreigner, was out eating with her 2 friends. When it was her turn to pay, the waitress starts questioning how much she's gonna pay, and then tells her she should tip because it's 'Swedish culture.' My GF challenged the 'should' in her statement, saying she didn't know that was a thing in Sweden. Waitress snapped back, asking how long my GF has been living here, and said that 5 years is nothing in Sweden and that she should show some respect for Swedish culture. It really makes me wonder how many times she's tried to pull this kind of trick on foreigners.
To the waitress: if you to read this and wants to question my knowledge about Swedish culture, just so you know, I'm in my 30s and I was born and raised here. I will bring my colleagues to your establishment for your duck dishes, since I like good food, but don't you dare pull another trick like that a...
