Situated on a peaceful lane beside a crowded Fridhemsplan shopping street, this place boasts of being an authentic Punjabi restaurant in Stockholm, perhaps the only one to claim such. Having been at multiple Indian restaurants before, I wasnât expecting too much from it. But the food surprised me to the core. It was by far the most Indian food I had in Europe. I visit here with my spouse and ordered Vegetarian Punjabi Mushroom masala and Black Dal, a tandoori roti and a naan. I just say the gravy was cooked nicely, vegetables were crisp, and mushrooms and Paneer chunks were smoked nicely. Breads were nice and just how they should be. Only downside perhaps could be the vegetarian samosa which were not felt to be in-house prepared, perhaps they were bought as frozen food and fried afterwards.

The taste had a hint of coconut and overall it was a really fantastic vindaloo. Served with naan bread some nice rice and a good salad. I really recommend...

Poppadoms- springy and probably cooked a long time ago. Rubbish.
Pagoras - spongy batter, undercooked veg on the inside. Terrible.
Naan bread- from frozen, very chewy.
Palak paneer- an insult. First of all, it was orange. Second it was runny. Third, paneer was sparse and flavourless. Fourth, bland. Bland curry, yup.
Avoid.
Probably better to get a cheap jar or curry sauce from a shop and...
