Exit Tapas & Bar Södermalm — Restaurant in Stockholm

Hi! Yesterday we tried to have dinner at this place. We only had 1 hour, so we ordered the most popular tapas - bravos potatoes and garlic shrimps. Unfortunately, we never got to try them as they took over 40 minutes to prepare.

When we ordered, none of the restaurant staff said it would take more than 40 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes, we asked the waitress how long it would take to cook our dish. She replied very annoyed: "This is not Mcdonald's". We then asked if we could cancel our order. She repeated: "This is not Mcdonald's, real food needs time to cook. It's usually 20 to 40 minutes." After another 10 minutes, after several attempts to reason with her and explaining that she should have told us this before we ordered, we asked to see the manager. She said you could go get him yourself. Several times she pretended that she doesn't speak English (she understood everything before we asked about the approximate cooking time). Finally, she came back and said "you can only pay for drinks". She didn't answer our question as to why we couldn't do this from the beginning.

I can't rate their food because I've never actually gotten to the stage of eating it. But, in terms of services, I don't recommend this resto if you are used to being treated with some respect.

Recommendations to the resto: explain to your staff that they can treat guests like that and that they can't call their restaurant "not Mcdonald's" (as simple as that). And Mcdonald's actually has much better staff than this place, so I wouldn't recommend being so cathegory even if you decide to use this comparison.

Also, it would be nice to have some sort of cancellation policy so that the staff knows to warn guests if the estimated cooking time...

Lovely place with delicious food! We started with some red wine sangria and followed with six different orders. Not a single item was just good - everything was immaculate! Delicious, savory, and full of taste on their own; even better when mixed with another item.

The service was great and we didn't have to wait for long at all. Staff was professional, hospital, and friendly! The atmosphere was great and really gave a Spanish/Mexican vibe - we almost couldn't believe we were still in Stockholm. Only downside was the high chair (which were impossible to get into since they were fit so tightly). The price was typical...

Exit Lounge is a fantastic place to grab lunch/dinner or drinks. Located in the heart of Sodermalm, this cute little lounge has gorgeous decor, great service and an extensive menu with plenty of Vegetarian options.

I came in to eat around 5pm so I had my pick of the restaurant where to sit. I ordered the truffle parmesan fries and the risotto and oh my God it was to die for! Absolutely delicious- quite possibly the best risotto I have ever tasted to be honest.
