The skewers were heavily seared to the point of being burnt — I understand the intention might have been to create a crisp crust, but the result was an overwhelming burnt taste with a extreme bitter aftertaste.
The highlight of the meal was the focaccia with ricotta and pistachio — that was genuinely enjoyable. However, the salad was disappointing. The vinaigrette was far too sour, tasting more like lime concentrate than a balanced dressing. It was so sharp it felt unpleasant in the mouth.
