Max Burgers — Restaurant in Stockholm

MAX is not only Sweden’s favourite hamburger restaurant chain, it is also one of the first. Back in 1968 the founders of MAX, Curt Bergfors and Britta Andersson, opened their first restaurant in Gällivare, high up in the northern part of Sweden.

Their hamburgers became so popular that within two years they opened more restaurants. Soon thereafter MAX was established in several other cities in Norrland (the northern part of Sweden). The rest is history.

Not only was this the slowest fast food in my life (waited about 35 mins for my order prep), but I also received the wrong burger, and the fries were cold. I witnessed that in the kitchen noone wear gloves, they are touching everything with bare hands, all the meat are precooked waiting on a shelf, of course they are cold as well. The staff were either completely new or they have no skills at all, they were very slow, all the processes were seemed to lack any kind of logic or lean mindset. Orders were served in random order, the place was dirty, extreme amount of garbage and plates were piling up on the tables - yet noone from the staff tried to...

Great food chain if you eat there in-house. Do not EVER order through Uber Eats/Foodora at this restaurant. They put your order last, which means that during rush hours, they will first serve all guests in the restaurant and then it will be your turn - even if you ordered 15 minutes before the 30 new people that entered the restaurant. Have had issues with the order every time when i have ordered drinks as well (spilled drink - not by the driver but because the packaging was awful).
