Muttley & Jack’s Coffee Roasters is a must-visit for anyone who loves specialty coffee. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere — cosy yet stylish — that encourages you to slow down and enjoy the moment. It’s the kind of place where you can just as easily pop in for a quick caffeine fix as settle in for a long, relaxing afternoon.
On our visit, we ordered the V60 brewed from single origin beans, and it was outstanding. The brew was clean, aromatic, and full of nuanced flavours that showcased the coffee’s origin beautifully. One thing I especially liked was that you get the whole pot, allowing for more than one cup — perfect for lingering a little longer and fully enjoying the experience.
The pastries were fresh and delicious, clearly chosen to complement the drinks. But what truly sets this place apart is the service: the staff are knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely friendly, happy to share brewing tips or recommend beans to try at home.
Whether you’re a seasoned coffee enthusiast or just curious about exploring beyond the usual café fare, Muttley & Jack’s offers exceptional coffee, a cosy setting, and warm hospitality — all the ingredients for a...
Read moreWell wow! I've just become a Muttley and Jack convert. I'm a bit of a coffee fanatic. I have been known to buy my own green coffee and roast it using my popcorn maker. I've scoured the city for interesting varieties and am an avid forum poster, looking for the best quality product and cup in Dublin.
So of course I tried Muttley and Jack - I like the idea that they do all that legwork for me and I get a nice 'present' once a month of some really excellent coffee. And this is consistently good. The last coffee of the month was a Columbian variety which was perfectly roasted. No fear of over roasting to standardise the flavour like you get in chain coffee houses, this was smooth, fruity and was more commented on than any of the other coffees I've tried on my co-workers. These guys know how to roast, in my opinion this is the making of breaking of any coffee.
Anyway - to my fellow coffaholics - try these guys. You won't be...
Read moreA few weeks ago I went to one of Muttley and Jack’s coffee brewing workshops that is being held in the roastery out at Rindö - and it was a great experience! I truly recommend the workshop as a gift to a coffee curious friend, or as a treat to yourself. Balancing perfectly between teaching technique (and all the nerdy info that comes with it 😉) and providing an opportunity to taste great coffee and hang out with other friendly people (including a very nice fika break and some cuddling with Muttley - the dog), the workshop actually exceeded my high...
