Pinchos — Restaurant in Umeå kommun

Quite expensive but a great experience especially if like me you are obsessed with all things circus, clowns, sideshows, and oddities.

Overwhelming experience if it is crowded but I tend to eat early so I leave before that. I recommend booking your table in advance, same day is often fine though.

The outdoor seating is unfortunately drab and feels very disconnected to the fun interior.

Ordering is done via app which has advantages and drawbacks

Vegiterian and some limited vegan options available. Menu tends to rotate out. I don't dine out often in general, but everytime I've been it has been a different menu.

I would give 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive. Seeing the bill sucks a lot of the fun out it at the end haha

Edit 2025: They have made vegan options not vegan. The portions have shrunk dramatically. Paid almost 50kr for 3 pieces of cauliflower when the menu shows 7 pieces for example. The service is hit or miss now. I'd recommend coming here for their unique cocktails and fun vibes, but I no longer recommend coming here to eat and have changed my star rating to reflect the current...

I recently visited pinchos for dinner and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The ambiance of the place is inviting, setting the stage for a delightful meal.

The food was nothing short of excellent. I particularly enjoyed the crispy chicken and fries, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The highlight of the evening, however, was the crème brûlée dessert. It was a sweet finale that left a lasting impression.

Once your order is ready, you receive a notification to pick it up, and payment is conveniently handled through the app. This streamlined process made the entire experience smooth and hassle-free.

For two people, the meal costed me around 630 SEK, which I found to be quite reasonable given the quality of the food and service. I highly recommend Pinchos and look forward to...

Really great food and super tasty. Like a Tapas bar but self service. Sadly you can’t pay in cash, you can only order on an app and you need to verify with a text message. We’re Visiting from the UK and did not receive a text. It’s been 6 hours since I requested a verification code and still not received. Was told normally takes 5-20 minutes. Luckily we are visiting Swedish friends and we’re able to order from their phones, If we did not we would’ve had to leave and find someone else to eat. It’s a Very bad system, it needs some sort of verification via email as an alternative. I can recommend that you visit, but make sure you download and verify the app in advance so you don’t waste time until they fix the issue.
