La Pinte Communale — Restaurant in Aigle

By chance we stopped at this restaurant for plat du jour at lunch. One thing I noticed is the WAITING time for food. Plat du jour is supposed to be rather not complicated to prepare as during the weekdays, people dont have much spare time to wait for food. We had green salads (easy) and baked salmon in pastry (already baked in advance) but yet it took some time to come to the table and in between the 2 dishes waiting time...Zzzz….when my partner wanted to have a coffee after, I said may be need to wait for another 30 mins.....ZZzzzz.. Food wise is fine but the waiting time does not invite...

The atmosphere was very cozy and homely, we loved the christmas 🎄 🎅 decor ! The service was very pleasant and the chef came around to ask us how we liked the food. 🍽️ the food was done well with some good veg options too. 👍 there is outside and indoor seating its in a nice cute village in aigle and its near the castle so its pretty great if you happen to be a tourist visiting the aigle castle 🏰

If you do end up visiting this restaurant I reccommend the non veg burgers 🍔, though we didn’t actually have it It seems to be...

Nous étions de passage à Aigle et avec ce beau soleil, nous nous sommes installés en terrasse où il faisait vraiment bon. Dans un premier temps, nous voulions juste boire quelque chose, puis voyant les autres tables commander, nous avons demandé la carte. Mon conjoint a pris une spécialité d asperges vertes de saison.. la qualité, cuisson parfaite.. la quantité un peu faible pour un plat principal et donc un peu coûteux..Pour ma part, j ai pris un burger simple, pain maison frais très bon ..viande de bonne qualité, fromage à raclette légèrement chewing-gum et le hic c est le bacon…aurait été bien meilleur grillé car mastication difficile et se prend dans les dents quand il est cru le lard ... dommage. Frites maison. Glaces artisanales délicieuses. Chef cuisinier sympathique passant aux tables pour se présenter et savoir comment s est déroulé le repas. Serveuses sympas également. Belle...
