La Pinte du Paradise — Restaurant in Aigle

One of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. The man running the restaurant was so incredibly rude to us and worse to the gentleman serving us. They seated us at a table then accused us of not making a reservation to move us. Speaking French about us to our server shouting this table is for 5 not 4 and banging with his hand on the table, they don’t have a reservation they must move. As a group of 5 arrived at the restaurant. I asked him not to treat us with such disrespect and said to him that he is in a business of service and this is not how you treat people. I would have love to give this place better note for ambience if it wasn't for the bad service and the rudness of the manager . I was so enraged and disappointed about the nasty treatment received by the manager after spending + 200chf in a meal. As the restaurant was being privatised for an event in the afternoon of which we had no knowledge about as we were getting ready to leave the manager rudely kicked us out of the place and said he didn't care about us as he knew there are many other customers anyway he was very arrogant and to be honest the meat wasnt my favourite taste so the overall experience was terrible. We arrived late for lunch on the terrace of this eatery overlooking the Chablais valley and French alps to the west the first Friday of May 2025. We were informed this was the opening day of the place, now under new management and that they had run out of most of their food. Not giving up, we insisted they look for something eatable and were served a delicious osso bucco and one helping of perfectly cooked filets of perch of unknown origin along with some local white and red of excellent quality.
