TWIST Restaurant & Terrasse — Restaurant in Arosa

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, offers a variety of foods also including vegetarian and vegan options. Portions are rather small and prices rather high. We also appreciated the wine list. Food/Wine: 4*

Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, service was rather slow and quite some of has waited in front of empty glasses. Service: 3*

Unfortunately we had an ugly experience in the restaurant and afterwards (how it was dealt with in the process). One of the couples being with us (we were a company of 8) hat a 2month old toddler with them. We managed to keep him quiet over the whole dinner. At the very end we were told by staff that other guests complained as the mother was humming to the kid - as however those guests were already gone, we couldn't do much but leave with a bad aftertaste. We afterwards contacted the restaurant to frankly tell them that the info at that point in time was uncalled for and suggested sending a little note to the newly born parents - After following up, we got an apology from management, which however was missing our points, I didn't have the impression that our mail really mattered (maybe they were busy with the crisis, but by now there would have been plenty of quiet time to follow up on customer relations). The fireplace lounge is filled with vintage furniture remeniscent of a turn of the (20th) century club with a real fireplace. Begging out on eggnog, glühwine or even a Feuerzangenbowl is the closest you ever get to experience a timemachine. If the interior does not satisfy the timetravel, check out the vintage books, some of wich are even signed by the author. Das Restaurant Twist hat mich auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Die Qualität der Speisen ist herausragend und das Angebot ist sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Kombination aus traditionellen und modernen Gerichten ist besonders gelungen - und macht total Spass. Die Zutaten sind stets frisch und von höchster Qualität, was man auch am Geschmack deutlich merkt.

Auch die Präsentation der Menüs ist sehr ansprechend und kreativ gestaltet. Die Küchencrew legt viel Wert auf Details und bringt jedes Gericht in perfekter Optik auf den Tisch.

Das Restaurant selbst ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und sehr zuvorkommend, das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam - man merkt, dass sie ihren Job gerne machen.

Das Twist ist definitiv ein Highlight in Arosa und ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Es bietet ein herausragendes kulinarisches Erlebnis und gehört meiner Meinung zu den besten Restaurants der Region.

Wir wählten als Vorspeise den köstlichen Büffelmozarella mit Valsana-Lachs und den Quinoa-Salat mit einer spritzigen Sauce. Als Hauptgang entschied ich mich für die vegetarischen Trinser Ravioli mit Dörrbirnen, Thymian und Birnenschaum. Meine Begleitung wählte ein Fleischgericht mit Rotkraut. Hat uns vorzüglich geschmeckt. Wir werden beim nächsten Besuch sicherlich wieder hierherkommen und uns von den saisonalen Kreationen überraschen lassen.
