Famii Ramen — Restaurant in Bern

If you love ramen as much as I do, and have tried countless ramen spots (not just in Japan, but even as close as Zurich), you can imagine the excitement when a new “authentic” ramen place opened in Bern. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned into disappointment.

Our ramen was served with soup that was cold and the broth was bland - nowhere near the deep, rich flavor that defines a good bowl of ramen. With the first sip, I was heartbroken 🥲 The noodles were nice, but that’s about it.

I won’t be going back until they crack the code, which I sincerely hope they do, because Bern deserves a solid ramen spot. The remaining stars in my rating...

Tantamen ramen was really tasty🤤 i would recommend it to everyone! You can have it vegan or vegetarian (with en egg)! I don’t know why this place has such a high score tbh. Ramen was meh, the noodles were ok but chewy, the soup was tasty but not ramen tasty, it had corn and minced meat (?). The owners are Chilean, which felt nice because I’m Chilean too, but that might be the reason the flavour was far from Japanese ramen. The place is very small but clean and cozy. Idk, think twice...
