RUNDER Store Brig — Restaurant in Brig-Glis

I've updated the review because the owner kindly requested more detailed feedback for subsequent improvements.

Nicely furbished. Staff friendly. I ordered a salad and smoothie as a light snack. The smoothie was not sweet and rather watery. Why, oh why? I didn't taste the coconut milk nor any of the fruits. The salad was boring too, maybe because of the bland dressing? Everything was bland, which was my main issue. It shouldn't be that hard to make dishes and drinks that elevate the natural flavours of veggies and fruits.

I went to the counter and asked the employee whether anything could be done about the taste. Maybe add more fruits? It's my understanding that the very watery cocounut milk and fruits are already mixed and is then blended when ordered. She proceeded to let me know that the bland taste was a known issue that had been communicated to higher-ups but the feedback didn't have any impact on the recipe, so to speak. I was then offered sugar for my smoothie which I politely declined. I was left disappointed that the taste was so ... nondescript for both the smoothie and the salad that it tainted my experience. It's not the worst, but I definitely had higher expectations because of the reviews.

Spectacular meal! If you like Chipotle in the US, you will love this place. We've been traveling all over Europe for weeks and were craving some food with a little spice/heat and this was just what the doctor ordered. It was right downstairs from our hotel, and it took us till our final day in Switzerland to stumble on it after a bypasser in the street overheard us saying we were craving Mexican food. Thank you stranger!! This place is GREAT! The burritos were delicious, the service was the best we've had in Europe, and the atmosphere with inside and patio seating was exactly what we were looking for. Oh, and the prices were great too! Fantastic food Overpriced tacos, by quite a way, but they were the best tacos I've had so can't complain. The pulled pork easily the best out of pulled pork, chicken and tofu we tried Nachos were amazing, the nachos themselves and the chicken were very boring and plain but all of the toppings and the gorgeous bbq sauce was just incredible Also best guacamole I've had Their homemade iced tea is really good too!

Note: the sour cream isn't sour cream. I don't like sour cream and didn't mean to order it but it was amazing. Tasted more like a tzatziki or something with dill...
