Mamma-Mia — Restaurant in Chur

Dined in the busy outdoor terrace. Thick fug of tobacco smoke and busy main road makes this less attractive than the many restaurants in the old town. The Pizza and Cannoloni we tried were of a high but not exceptional standard.

The big downer was the indifferent and grumpy service. After a delay of several minutes we were asked to order without even being shown a menu. The repeat process happened regarding drinks. After finally looking at the somewhat ordinary drink offerings we decided to pass and go for a drink at a much better bar in the town.

Lag time for cooking and serving the food was about 45 minutes. All in all a very ordinary experience. You can do much better in this town with so many other establishments vying...

On our way to Italy, my wife and I stopped by for dinner after a long train ride from Frankfurt to Chur. From the outside, this restaurant seemed inconspicuous. After entering the restaurant, we weren’t sure what to expect because it had a black curtain hiding the dining room. We were pleasantly surprised to see such a quaint and charming dining room. Both the food and service was excellent. We had the bolognese and carbonara with a mixed green salad. Excellent!! We finished with tiramisu for dessert. Again, excellent!!!! I highly recommend...

Went here tonight on the recommendation of our hotel. We both had the lasagne with a green salad, followed by coffee. All very good indeed. Service a bit slow but friendly - nice people. Very crowded but there was always at least one table to spare for customers who hadn't booked. Worth the short walk out of the centre of town. We had a good pizza here. The service was pretty quick and correct. If you are not expecting a fancy dinner and a whole evening out, then this is a great place. I would have pizza here again if I was in the...
