It was a great experience in summer. You can see the whole Chur and the surrounding mountains. the cable cars are in two sections. First one is a large car carrying many people. The 2nd part is a series of old small cars. The built quality and safety of these are bit questionable. But Switzerland is the pioneers of cable cars. So, they might know what they are doing better than us. Staff was very friendly. Tickets look bit expensive. Tickets can be bought from the counter. Or maybe you can use the Swiss pass. Again, everything in Switzerland is expensive. On the top of the mountain, you have a heavenly great view.

Also noted lots of ski sledges at the top station so good luck and break a leg as...

We purchased tickets at the bottom and there wasn't a wait in January. Guessing there will be one in...
