The best service I have ever experienced in an Italian restaurant in Switzerland! Immediately changed our reserved table without hesitation and efficiency!

In total, thank you for the great and professional service! We had amazingly tasty and fresh delicacies! And decaffeinated cappuccini served with egg-less cookies! Four star because we have waited nearly one hour for the food and were charged for the dessert (?) without being informed :-(

I just left this place and wish I could have stayed for dinner - "only" had an aperitivo of a great drink, delicious focaccia with onions and some meat/cheese, which was a delight. Wonderful service to boot with a charming team at the bar!

Update: Returned for dinner and was not disappointed - very honest, good food made with a lot of love and thought. We really liked the beef tartare, and the cordon bleu (both veal and pork are delicious). The foccaccia is as good as ever, and the service very friendly and efficient. Das Isolino Ristorante Wine Bar in Locarno ist ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und hervorragendes Essen schätzen. Etwas ausserhalb der Altstadt gelegen, bietet das kleine Restaurant eine wunderschöne Terrasse, nur zwei Strassen vom See entfernt. Hier lässt sich wunderbar abschalten und den mediterranen Flair von Locarno geniessen.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort und waren von Anfang an begeistert. Als Hauptgang entschieden wir uns für Kalbsbraten mit Kartoffeln und Gemüse, der durch eine Suppe oder einen Salat ergänzt wurde – und das alles zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Die Qualität des Essens war herausragend: Der Kalbsbraten war zart und perfekt gewürzt, die Beilagen frisch und sorgfältig zubereitet. Man spürt, dass hier Wert auf hochwertige Zutaten und eine liebevolle Zubereitung gelegt wird.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist jedoch der Service. Die Bedienung war aussergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und authentisch – etwas, das in der heutigen Gastronomie leider immer seltener wird. Man fühlte sich nicht nur willkommen, sondern regelrecht umsorgt. Es war wirklich einer der besten Services, den ich seit langem erlebt habe.

Alles in allem kann ich das Isolino Ristorante Wine Bar wärmstens empfehlen. Wer gutes Essen, faire Preise und exzellenten Service sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ein Ort, an den man gerne...
