Restaurant le Plaza — Restaurant in Crans-Montana

We met some friends here for Sunday lunch. Very friendly staff and good view of the centre of town. For starter we shared a Pinna (like a pizza but with rice flour) with mortadella ham and buratta cheese with pesto sauce which was excellent. For main we shared a tomahawk steak between 3 of us with fries. Food and service was of a high standard. For desert we had a mint oannacotta. On the house we had coffee and lemoncello.

Overall very good food and service with a good atmosphere. They also had a large tv with sport showing. Price for 4 was 350F with for Crans is the going rate as we did choose the most expensive thing on the menu… well worth a visit if you like...

La qualité, la convivialité, le service ! Même si nous connaissons les lieux depuis longtemps ainsi que Ivan & Katy, ils méritent d'avoir un avis digne de ce nom avec un 5*.

Cela fait une semaine que nous sommes à Crans pour y passer nos vacances. C'est notre "Place to Be" (après le Postillon bien entendu).

Je commence par une éloge à toute l'équipe qui fait du très bon travail même en l'absence des patrons. Sourires, courtoisie, professionnels.

"Il Divano" pour prendre nos apéros avec nos amis est idéal. On peut y manger "La Pinsa" et déguster de bons cocktails. Rires et détente sont de rigueur.

La restauration est très bonne et bien servie. Qualité, quantité et cuisson à l'italienne. Pour vous donner un avant goût, je vous mets les photos de notre repas d'hier soir. Un délice. Juste une recommandation pour les boss, plus de poissons entier à la carte. Et quand il y a le poulpe grillé il en faut plus. Rires.

Entrée : Calamari fritti = un délice. Plats : Calamarata avec homard, Agnello & Polenta (la joue d'agneau est braisée à basse température pendant 18h) = un régal. Le vin : Villa da Vinci San Zio Toscana = très bon. Les desserts : Tiramisu & Fondant au chocolat = Miam miam.

Vous aurez compris que c'est une évidence pour moi de vous recommnader ce...

I’m sure the food here is nice, however, one of the male staff members sporting a eloquent quiff was rather rude and impolite. On arrival I proceeded to ask the young chap where the bathroom was and he kindly informed, rather bluntly, this is not a public toilet. At this point my wife and I went elsewhere for lunch. Plenty of great places to dine here in Crans Montana, customer service doesn’t mean much...
