Le Continental Restaurant — Restaurant in Lens

We visited this place several times this summer end july, beginning august. We had been here numerous times the years before so we know it quite well, me myself had been here for probably 35+ years with the dutch dude who owned this place and even before. The first time we visited this summer i convinced my kids to try the tartare. (due to the corona virus situation there was only a small selection of what they normally offer) Sandra proposed that they could get a kids version of it which was a bit smaller so we accepted it. It was so good the few times afterwards they took the normal dish. Kids want to come back with christmas but that damn virus... we'll be back next summmer or winter :) but as a Belgian, i was really wondered why nobody was...

4 of us came for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the balcony overlooking a small forrest. One of us has steak tartare which was excellent served with crispy fries. I had Sole Meunière served with mashed potatoes, also excellent full of flavour. We all shared a cafe Continental which is a mini version of a few desserts. I had a wonderful experience at Restaurant Continental. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly. I went with friends and we were all very impressed. I ordered the entrecôte as my main dish and...
