Yuki Lounge Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Crans-Montana

The place is beautiful and the staff was very friendly, the reservation was very easy to do, but we regretted it. The food looked good but was so disappointing, even the drinks. The house tea was super sweet and the house lemonade was just mineral water with lemon. The dim sums were okay but very small, nothing too special the 3 of them, and the waiter brought the wrong ones at first. The fried rice with a little bit of tuna was insipid and worse were the tempura shrimps, no seasoning at all. The octopus tacos were disgusting, the avocado was brown, old, and bitter. We also waited a lot for them to bring the menus or ask for drinks, and the tacos and shrimps took 40 minutes to come after we asked for the bill. I was really looking forward to our meal as its sister restaurant (now closed, Makan) was so excellent. So the Yuki staff are very kind and friendly, however could improve personal hygiene. The setting is lovely with cool vibes. The Food, for 'Asian' food it was mediocre at best, it lacked depth and serious flavour, i got more flavour from the lemonade. The Ramen was really bland and so much was missing in terms of stock flavour, the cod was indeed well.cooked but tbe sauce was weak and lacked identify (where was the aronatic citrus like lemongrass, yuzu, kaffir ...just 3 tiny pieces of fresh grapefruit) of any sort other than bright sunshine colour. I was really disappointed to say the least. I am sure it works for some, however Yuki didn't...

Trying Yuki for the first time for lunch, we had high hopes looking at the very stylish and tasteful interior. Besides that and the nice service, nothing else was enjoyable. The pad Thai was nothing like an original pad Thai, instead we were presented with a small and soggy noodle dish drowned in a sauce. The Korean chicken was okay, however also the only tasty dish we had been served. We can definitely not recommend the place as it doesn’t justify its prices and certainly lacks high quality food.
