Buffalo Grill Crissier — Restaurant in Crissier

I've given the Buffalo Grill a review in the past and I don't think I gave it a true evaluation. After about 10 visits since my initial review I'd like to help other diners better with more information.

The food is really nice. After seating you are given a salad and warm bread rolls. The menu is priced the same as all the other restaurants in the centre of Lausanne. Nothing jumped out of the menu as being 'expensive'. For 21 chf you can get the Buffalo burger, which is excellent. This includes a side order (e.g. chips) and an a sauce (choice of 8).

For the kids: There is a kids menu, it comes with a main dish, side order, drink and an ice cream. If memory serves me right, its about 15 chf. Probablly the reason we enjoy the place so well is because it is extremely child friendly. There is a play area in the restaurant and all kids I've seen playing there don't seem to get bored (or hurt). You will hear screams of enjoyment but thankfully thats about all.

I know my family and I will continue to go here as we have never been...

We used to love this place. The food was nice and we could eat without a long wait. Simple enough with good treats.

This time was a bad experience. We waited almost an hour between sitting and eating. The food was one of the worst one we had in a restaurant in Switzerland. Dry vegetables, "steak haché" compact without much taste, my salmon was far too much cooked. When I saw my plate arrived, this reminded me of when I was in school cantine. Most of the food seemed to be frozen food (even if I may be wrong)...

Most of the staff was under training and I felt for them. I hope they get the training they need.

I will not come back here before a long time.

Very kid-friendly place. We didn't even know how kid-friendly it was all the times we'd been there until we went with our then 18-month-old. There is a little play gym area for toddlers and kids. They seat families with kids nearer to the play area. We got there early and was seated right by the entrance of the play area so we were able to watch our baby without much difficulty. Highly recommend for parents with young kids who want to enjoy their meal in peace 😁

Typhaine, our server this time around was great! She got all the orders right and on time!

A small suggestion: A gate at the play area entrance would be an amazing addition for safety reasons. Too many toddlers running out and into the path of the servers as the kitchen...
